Before taking his position with The Magazine of Sigma Chi at Sigma Chi International Headquarters, Ryan studied journalism at the University of Washington in Seattle. There, he was a member of the Fraternity's Upsilon Upsilon Chapter. Ryan was born and raised in the sleepy town of Bonney Lake, Wash., which is known mostly to the area's surrounding communities for having a Walmart and a Target. He has lived in Chicago since October 2009.
Ryan is the copy editor for Sigma Chi International Headquarters, and works primarily as an editor and contributor to The Magazine of Sigma Chi. His other responsibilities include moderating Sigma Chi's official Facebook page, editing all external communications for clarity and brevity, and maintaining the Fraternity's proprietary style guide.
