2011 Balfour Leadership Training Workshop

The 2011 Balfour Leadership Training Workshop will be held from July 28-30 at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, with the theme of “Life Loyal Leadership. This will be the third consecutive year the event will be in Chapel Hill;the workshop will divide the Fraternity’s undergraduate chapter officers and emerging leaders into groups with fellow officers from across North America, facilitating the exchange of ideas between Sigs of different locations and backgrounds.
At last year’s Balfour LTW, there was a record-breaking attendance of more than 1,780 Sig undergraduates and alumni, a number that is unlikely to be exceeded at this year’s event. Conference planners say that they are preparing for a workshop attendance of about 1,650, in order to give an increased focus on the interactions between workshop facilitators and undergraduate attendees.
Alumni and undergraduates can apply by June 1 to attend the Balfour LTW at the workshop’s website, balfourltw.sigmachi.org.
As part of their annual dues payments to Sigma Chi Fraternity International Headquarters, undergraduate chapters can send up to five attendees to the workshop.
