University of Memphis Sigs Earn Daniel William Cooper Award

Chapter recognized for having Sigma Chi's most outstanding scholastic achievement program
 
The undergraduate Sigs from the University of Memphis were presented the Daniel William Cooper Award at the Aug. 4 closing session of the Balfour Leadership Training Workshop at Bowling Green State University for having the Fraternity's most outstanding scholastic achievement program. In addition, the chapter’s brothers received a $5,000 grant to use toward furthering their scholarship program.
 
The runner-up was the chapter at Gettysburg College. They received $3,000 scholarship award.
 
The annual Cooper Award is named for Founder Daniel William Cooper, MIAMI (OHIO) 1857.
