Sigma Chi Fraternity

Occurring every other summer (opposite Grand Council), Grand Chapter is a meeting of the Sigma Chi body known as 'the Grand Chapter,' the supreme legislative body of the Fraternity and the only entity that can amend the Ritual and Constitution. It is composed of one delegate from each of the Undergraduate and Alumni chapters, the Grand Consul and all living past Grand Consuls, each being entitled to one vote. Among other things, the Grand Chapter elects the officers of the Fraternity.

The meeting is a time for Fraternity business, but also for celebrating the bonds of Sigma Chi and for honoring brothers with a variety of honors, including the Significant Sig Award and the induction of brothers into the Order of Constantine.

Delegates and their alternates for Grand Chapter must be approved by their chapter and submit a certification form, which is available for download here. This form must be returned completed and signed to Sigma Chi International Headquarters no later than June 15.
